About

About Salt & Stucco

An independent field guide to keeping a home’s exterior clean and sound on Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Salt & Stucco is an editorial publication, not a service company. We don’t wash houses. We research and write practical, locally specific guides for homeowners from Pensacola to Naples — because the national home sites treat Florida’s coast like everywhere else, and it isn’t. Salt air, year-round humidity, barrel-tile roofs, pool cages, and pavers wreck exteriors here faster than almost anywhere, and the advice should reflect that.

How our guides are made

Every guide is written for real coastal conditions and reviewed by a licensed Southwest Florida pressure-washing professional for accuracy on method, pricing, and safety. We cite specific ranges and name the real culprits — the algae species, the salt film, the month-by-month timing — rather than vague generalities. When something changes, we update the guide and change the date.

How we recommend local pros

When a guide points you to a local crew, that’s an editorial recommendation, not a paid placement. We profile established pressure-washing pros by metro along the Gulf Coast and link to the ones we’d send a neighbor to. We don’t run a lead form, we don’t sell your information, and a company can’t buy its way into a recommendation. If that ever changes, we’ll say so plainly on the page.

What we don’t do

We don’t fabricate reviews or star ratings, we don’t collect your contact details, and we don’t take a cut of any job. Our only aim is to be the guide you’d want before you spend money on your home’s exterior.

We don’t take the job — we point you to established local pressure-washing pros we’ve profiled, by metro. No forms, no reselling your details.
